About sunil Linus De

A significant presence in the field of Art for the last 25 years,Sunil Linus De was formally trained in Applied Arts from the famous Raja Ravi Varma College of Fine Arts Kerala, India. Sunil is a professional artist who specializes in the’ light sensitive and hard to rework WATER COLOUR MEDIUM.’ His relationship with water colours started from his early childhood.
His discrete personal style emanates joy and positivity and expresses the vibrant spirit of nature and human life. The beautiful and the lingering presence of ‘Lights and shadows’ are not mere ‘buena vista’ in Sunil’s works, they create permanent visual experiences.
Sunil’s art work has been included in exhibitions, both solo and group across India and Overseas. By invitation he exhibited at the Water Colour Biennale and other curated programs.He shared his art world through water colour workshop in the Kochi-Muziris Biennale.A multiple award winner,Sunil has received the Kerala Lalitha Kala Academy Award for his painting titled ‘Nostalgia’. He was an invited artist in the State and National camps , Workshops and Demonstration Classes conducted by the Academy.His art is a Visual Poetry which is why it has attracted numerous public, corporate and private collectors world wide.
